Gutter Cleaning

Gutter Cleaning & Clearance across Devon

Blocked gutters are the single most common cause of damp problems on Devon properties. Wet winters, leafy autumns and roof moss combine to fill gutters faster than people realise. We clear them properly using high-power gutter vacuums on carbon-fibre poles — reaching up to four storeys from ground level.

The Moore & Franks approach

Our gutter clearance is vacuum-based, not hand-scoop. A wet-vac sat in the van pulls debris through carbon-fibre poles right out of the gutter run, into a holding tank — no mess in the borders below, no scoop-and-throw, no ladders ratcheted against your render.

Each visit includes a downpipe check and a flush-through. If a run is properly blocked we'll diagnose it and fix it on the same visit rather than book another.

Many of our gutter customers are on a 12-month recurring schedule — book once and we come back annually without prompting.

How it works

A clear, repeatable process.

No surprises, no upsells. The same method every job — that's how you get the same result every time.

Annually for most Devon properties — more often if there are overhanging trees or heavy roof moss. Autumn is the busiest time but a spring clear is just as worthwhile.

Rarely. Our vacuum poles reach four storeys from the ground. We only use a tower or ladder when access requires it — for example tucked-away conservatory gutters.
