Window Cleaning in Exeter
Pure-water-fed-pole window cleaning across Devon. Glass, frames, sills and doors — every visit. We work all over Exeter and the surrounding Devon area — St Leonard's, Heavitree, Pinhoe and the towns between.

The Moore & Franks approach in Exeter
Exeter mixes Georgian terraces around Southernhay with red-brick Victorian streets in St Leonard's and St Thomas, plus a steady run of newer estates out toward Pinhoe and Cranbrook. Multi-pane sash windows and bay fronts gather grime fast off the city's traffic and the damp coming up the Exe valley. We're a Topsham firm ourselves, so Exeter is home turf. Our cleaners use pure-water reach-and-wash poles to do upstairs glass safely from the ground, frames and sills included, with no smears left behind. Twenty-five years in, fully insured to £5m, and we turn up when we say we will.
Commercial glass makes up a good share of our Exeter week. Shopfronts along Fore Street and the Guildhall centre, offices near the Quay and the trade units out at Marsh Barton pick up fingermarks and road film within days, so most business customers here run a monthly schedule that we manage for them. There is no chasing and no booking calls, just a fixed per-visit price agreed up front and the same two of us turning up on time.
Leaf sap and a green haze settle on conservatory roofs across the leafy northern suburbs. Under the heavy mature tree cover around Pennsylvania and Duryard, roof glass and polycarbonate dull far quicker than on anything open and flat. The reach-and-wash brush lifts the lot at low pressure with nobody climbing onto a fragile roof, and we do the finials and bar caps at the same time. Small, medium or large, a conservatory roof runs £50 + VAT, £70 + VAT or £90 + VAT.
Most households here settle on a quarterly visit, which holds the damp-fed film off the glass without paying for cleans nobody needs. Where there are panels on the roof we wash those at £7 + VAT each while the poles are already up, so windows and solar are sorted in one go. Once you are on the round we come back of our own accord, with no reminder needed at your end and the price fixed for each visit.
Our Exeter customers are right on our doorstep. We cover the wider EX1, EX2, EX3, EX4, EX5 postcode area and the surrounding villages (St Leonard's, Heavitree, Pinhoe, Topsham, Pennsylvania, Exeter Quay).
A clear, repeatable process.
No surprises, no upsells. The same method every job — that's how you get the same result every time.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to the questions we get asked the most. If yours isn't here, drop us a line — we reply same day.
A standard house clean starts at £15 + VAT, with the frames, sills and door panels washed at no extra charge every time. What moves the price here is window count and access, so a compact Heavitree terrace sits near the base rate while a large Pennsylvania villa with high bays and a conservatory costs more.
All of it, from the centre out to Heavitree, Pinhoe and Pennsylvania and down through Topsham to the Quay. Being based on Ferryman Way in Topsham puts the whole spread of EX1 to EX5 on our doorstep, so there is no travel charge anywhere across the city.
Yes, on every visit. The painted timber frames and stone sills on the Victorian and Georgian homes get the same wash as the glass, and the uPVC on the Cranbrook and Newcourt estates comes up just as clean. Doing the glass and leaving grubby frames is a half-job we will not quote for.
Send a message or a couple of photos of the property and we reply the same day with a fixed written quote. We work weekdays, eight in the morning until five, and once you are on a quarterly round the returns are automatic. Quotes are free and nothing is due until the job is finished.
